About me

Growing up in different countries and completing the rigorous International Baccalaureate diploma programme helped me become an adaptable and thorough student with a unique set of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. Working towards a bachelor in Liberal Arts majoring in Gender Studies has allowed me to explore my topics of interest and build a range research, interpretation and communication skills through the frameworks of political science, sociology and international relations amongst many other interlocking subjects. I have gained multiple perspectives to build my understanding of world politics, social structures and power dynamics and through my studies I have built up a particular interest in Queer theory and gender studies perspectives in development and postcolonial studies.
A variety of types of work appeal to me, particularly within the public sector, and I hope to find a role where I can employ my communication, team work and problem solving skills. I would be interested in placements within a local government or a charity/NGO in a wide range of capacities. My varied skillset could also be effective employed within a startup or corporate setting.
My hobbies include art and design and I am always eager to pursue opportunities where I can apply these interests.
