INTERNSHIP POSITION:
JUNIOR EXPERT COORDINATOR IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT & CLEAN TECHNOLOGIES

Context:
Following the first-ever round-the-world flight in a zero-fuel airplane, the Solar Impulse Foundation, chaired by Bertrand Piccard (pilot and initiator of the project) launched the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions that seeks to federate all the actors (companies, startups, investors, association) from the cleantech and sustainability sector. The goal of the Alliance is to encourage the implementation of concrete efficient solutions worldwide, in order to help governments reach their health and environmental targets. The first action of the Alliance will be to bring together a catalogue of 1,000 solutions developed by our members. The selection process will be based on the insights of renowned experts in order to build a portfolio of technologies and processes showcasing human ingenuity to tackle climate change, without barriers of contexts or origins.

Duties overview:
The World Alliance is looking for an intern to support the expert outreach and the day to day activities of the World Alliance team:
• Expert outreach and onboarding support
• Reach out, follow up and manage contacts with expert candidates
• Monitor status of expert application, assist when needed
• List companies, startups and associations active in cleantech and sustainable development to become potential experts
• Expert community management
• Monitor progress of solution assessments and remind experts when needed
• Backend support
• Track bugs and support the digital team to fine-tune the registration and solution to expert matching process
• Keep our CRM database updated and clean

Qualifications:
• Interest in sustainability, environmental technologies and innovation is a must
• Currently - or just finished - a Bachelor degree in Business/Management/Environment/Communications
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook - good computer skills in general is an asset
• Experience with Hubspot or a similar CRM preferable
• Very task-oriented
• Pro-active (a do-er)
• Strong attention to details
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
• Open and communicative personality
